St Gabriel Athletic Association: Providing Christian Values Through Participation In Sports

Home to the St. Gabriel Shamrocks

​The St. Gabriel Athletic Association, an extension of St. Gabriel Catholic School, uses participation in sports to supplement the Christian values that are taught to the children of St. Gabriel. We work in conjunction with parents and coaches to provide the best possible instruction and resources to ensure a safe and positive environment for students’ athletic participation. This promotes individual and relational development among both students and parents to enhance the St. Gabriel experience.

​We work to teach students the fundamentals of each sport, and proceed to refine their skills in preparation for competition in grade school and beyond. Additionally, we aim to​:
  • Develop sportsmanship and friendships
  • Teach students to work as a team
  • Foster school spirit
  • Build self-confidence
  • Help students to maintain good health
  • Enhance Catholic values and teachings
We encourage parental participation as well! Parent volunteers have a great impact, offering a substantial resource and support base for our school and sports programs, and showing children the importance of participating in a faith-based community.
